Dr. William B. Scurlock
Born and raised on Chicago's north side, Dr. Scurlock attended Northern Illinois University, graduating in 1975.
He received his medical degree from the University of Illinois in 1979. Dr.
Scurlock completed his specialty training in Family Practice at St. Francis
Hospital in Peoria, Illinois serving as chief resident June 1981 to July 1982.
He is currently board certified by the American Academy of
After residency, Dr. Scurlock became a full-time instructor of Family
Medicine at St. Francis Hospital.
He joined St. Charles Family Medical Center in 1984 and has been on staff at
since. He has served as Chairman of the Department of Family Practice.
Dr. Scurlock is married with 3 children. He enjoys playing racquetball and
has a special interest as an aviation medical examiner.
Darryl V. Link
Since birth in Oak Park, IL Dr. Link has lived in both northern and southern
Illinois while growing up.
After undergraduate and graduate school at the University of Illinois, he
graduated medical school from the University of Illinois College of Medicine in
Dr. Link completed residency training in both Internal Medicine and
Pediatrics at Loyola University Medical Center in Maywood, IL in 1991.
He is a member of

He joined St. Charles Family Medical Center in 1991 to practice both general
Internal Medicine and Pediatrics specialties. He is board certified in both of
these specialties and is on staff at
Dr. Link resides in Batavia and is married with 3 children.
Dr. Michael C. Rivera
Raised in the Northern Suburbs of Chicago, Dr. Rivera attended Loyola
University of Chicago graduating in 1993.
He received his medical degree from the University of East, Philippines in
1998. Dr. Rivera completed his Family Practice specialty training at Southern
Illinois University, Decatur, Illinois in 2003.
He has been practicing Family Medicine in the Western Suburbs since 2003. He
joined St. Charles Family Medical Center in April 2009 and is on staff at

Sara Brandal, RN, BSN, MSN, FNP-C
Life-long resident of Chicago's northwest suburbs, Sara has been a practicing clinical nurse since 2006. At Northern Illinois University, she earned her Bachelors of Science in Nursing and was awarder her Masters of Science in Nursing where she specialized in the Family Nurse Practitioner Program.
Sara is board certified by, and a current member of, the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners.
Sara has a diverse clinical background and is experienced in providing care to chronically ill adults and children. She is passionate about promoting health and wellness to patients of all ages, including well women exams.
Sara is married with one child. She enjoys spending time with her family, physical fitness, the outdoors, and following Chicago sports.
